For beginners or anyone stuck in Auto Mode and want more control of your camera.
You’ll learn the following:

This workshop is for anyone who has just bought a new camera, hobbyists, or anyone that want to understand the basics of photography. It only covers the essentials of photography and using your camera properly. More advanced techniques are covered in the advanced workshop.

Advanced Photography Workshop
For anyone who want to grow further with their photography skills.
You’ll learn:
- Complex lighting and metering
- Advanced focusing methods
- Depth, story, and visual narrative
- Using colour and mood intentionally
- Real-time shooting challenges with feedback
- How to enhance your images with basic RAW editing
The advanced workshop is designed to take your photography to the next level. You will learn advanced techniques like slow shutter, multiple exposure, etc. This workshop is suitable for anyone that already has a basic understanding of photography and how your camera works, but would like to improve your skills.

Editing & Post-Processing Workshop
For anyone who want to get the most out of their images after taking them.
You’ll learn the following:
- RAW vs JPEG
- Lightroom or Camera Raw workflow essentials
- Tone, colour, and contrast adjustments
- Local adjustments (brushes, masks, etc.)
- B&W conversions with purpose
- Sharpening, noise reduction, exporting
- Developing your editing style
Prerequisites:
- A basic understanding of how to operate your camera.
- Familiarity with importing photos and basic computer use.
- A laptop/desktop with one or more of the following:
- Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Camera Raw (within Photoshop)
- A computer with up-to-date editing software installed (free trials are welcome).
- At least 5-10 RAW image files of your own to work on during the course.
- A notebook or digital notes app to track your workflow and progress.
- Optional: Wacom tablet or similar for precision editing (recommended for advanced users).
Please note that this workshop covers basics and more advanced techniques of editing and post-processing in more depth.

1 hour of training: R 1500
2 hours of training: R 2500
3 hours of training: R 3500
4 hours of training: R 4500

Preferably, yes. These workshops are designed for cameras with manual controls. However, if you’re unsure whether your gear is suitable, feel free to reach out – I’m happy to advise.

Absolutely. Many clients mix elements from different workshops or request a custom focus. Just let me know what you’d like to cover.
Where do the workshops take place?

What happens if the weather is bad?
We’ll either adjust the workshop to suit the conditions or reschedule at no extra cost. Some weather situations (like soft rain or dramatic skies) can actually make for great photo opportunities.
